Neo-Nazis in the military?

The Southern Poverty Law Center is evidently very concerned about the possibility that white supremacist gang members may be joining the military. I just have to speak up about this one. I served six years in the Air Force, a very left-leaning Clinton military with many problems derived from the poor leadership of that President. I served in at least four different locations and there were gang problems, but not in the way the SPLC is concerned about.

The SPLC has never once so vocally spoken up that the Crips and Bloods have so heavily infiltrated the Army. In the State of Hawaii, the biggest gang problem by far is in and around Schofield Army Barracks -- where magically there is a big Crips and Bloods problem. The military has long had its own little gangland insurgency and the SPLC couldn't care less. Now that there is a white supremacy threat, they speak up, but even in these dangerous times they can't manage to be balanced. All gangs are a threat to our way of life, not just white supremacists. All gang members should be jailed under RICO statutes and kept there forever. I don't want them in my neighborhood and in my military. However, if the military can stamp the gang-ness out of their recruits, I don't care if they take them in. But the military has been ignoring gang affiliation for a long, long time.

Whatever Will I Do?

For a moment, let me sound like a clandestine Democrat caller to a right-wing talk radio station:

I am a Republican sired by Republicans. My parents wanted to donate extra to Reagan's first presidential campaign, so they signed me up as an infant and donated another $1000. I have always voted party line, I have listened to right-wing talk radio (Rush, Hannity, Glenn Beck, Michael Medved, Dennis Prager, Hugh Hewitt, Mark Larson, and a couple others here and there) throughout my adult married life.

We are now at a crossroads. Crazies in the Middle East want to kill us, and are sending some of their mates across our Southern border to infiltrate us. Crazies from Latin America are here in my beautiful country and want to slice off some of it for themselves. The solution to a lot of these problems would be to secure our country, insulate it. And we don't have the political will to build a wall? It's more necessary than the Great Wall ever was, and at an easy cost to bear.

My Republican party wants to ignore the will of its people to squeeze out extra donation dollars. And they appear to be afraid of repurcussions from the separatist sect of our Latino population (Yes, separatist. From La Voz de Aztlan to the crazies flying the Mexican flag around our country, they're separatists). Well, I must discern which course of action will make them more afraid of me as a voter, than anything a separatist Latino could do.

Do I leave the Republican party? Do I stay in it and scream? Stayin in it and sending money to them only led them down a road to where they are now. I can't imagine rewarding them for what they're doing now.

Give me my country back, or give me a new politcal party. At a minimum, I will be de-registering as a Republican if they don't fix this problem post-haste.

Thus has Punctilious written.

Latest Business News and Financial Information | Reuters.com

So airlines (yes it's been awhile) want to charge extra for the "comfort of aisle seats? Ever had your elbow hit by the cart a dozen times during a flight as the stewardess passes by? Or have someone trip onto you when the plane shifts slightly during flight as they stumble half-drunken, half-sleepily into your arms? All 300 pounds of them? Brilliant idea. How about increasing service, making the ride more pleasurable? That would be worth paying for.

The Religion of Peace Strikes Back

The oppressed members of the Religion of Peace had no choice but to behead the schoolgirls. i'm sure they asked for it, had it coming to them, or whatnot. Hopefully the assailants will soon get to meet Allah.

Exciting Biblical Archaeology News

Note to archaeologists: If an ancient statement designates a specific place for a biblical site, look there first. Turns out, where John said the Pool of Siloam was, it was. Exciting, though, that it can be found where it's supposed to be, even after a do-gooder Empress of the Byzantine empire recreates the site elsewhere to legitimize the claim. All this, only a few days after other archaeologists seem to have found one of King David's palaces.

The whole world knows the Jews have a long history in that area. It's unfortunate that modern Muslim leaders (i.e., Arafat) have intimated that the Jews have fabricatedtheir claim to the area. Of course, in rejecting the last 800 years of modern history, these same Muslim leaders probably disregard all things archaeological (newfangled sciences are designed to corrupt, of course, and are contrary to the will of Allah).

Environmental Idiocy

The environmentalists have a long and sordid history of murdering our astronauts. In the name of saving the world from freon and asbestos, they have pushed NASA out of safety and into greenified compliance. In the words of the liberals: how many astronauts have to die for this?

And murder is not too harsh a word; after all, it's depraved-heart murder. They have nothing in their hearts but greeny little thoughts, entirely at the expense of humanity. They'll justify it to themselves, to be sure, in that a few astronauts can die to save the people and furry creatures all over the world in future generations... but if we don't master the space race others will, and they'll use it to demolish all the people and furry creatures in our fair country. The space program should be pretty much off-limits... look at it this way: the fuel consumption on the way out of the atmosphere likely does more 'damage', though it's not irreversible, than asbestos o-rings and freon tiles. Time to put back the stuff that works and put the wackjob, murderous environmentalists out of business.

A Phrase that Needs to Die

Start out by reading this snippetabout Leftists encouraging their fellow jerks to take put dog-crap on Karl Rove's lawn... with detailed directions to his house and everything.

...because of course, Leftists have enough self-control to resist dropping their pants right there to leave their own droppings.

At the end, you'll see these fatal words: "I think this kind of suggestion shows the utter lack of civility on both sides." If you can avoid screaming right there, please do, but I wasn't so fortunate.

I just love the moral equivalency crap (no pun intended): every time Leftists do something outrageous, they in effect blame the Right. Advocate trespassing with your crap or your dog's crap on a man's lawn? "Oh, yeah, well... both sides are just terrible, aren't they?"

Liken the President to a Mad character? "Oh, yeah, well... both sides are just terrible, aren't they?"

Advocate Presidential assassination? "Oh, yeah, well... both sides are just terrible, aren't they?"

Here's what I have to say: LEAVE ME OUT OF IT. The Right does NOT do any of this, so don't blame it on us. The Left is seriously out of control, and their only defense is that somewhere, out there, beneath the pale moonlight, a Right-wing-nut must be doing something bad, so don't look at us, tonight.
